BEYOND BARRIERS is a project launched in 2023 and completed in 2025, which has received support from the PNRR – Incentive for the “Digital Transition of Cultural and Creative Organizations” (TOCC) – funded by the European Union as part of the Next Generation EU initiative. The application for funding has been submitted and is awaiting the appropriate checks.

The project, conceived by Chiese Vive, aims to achieve multiple results: first and foremost, virtual accessibility for viewing spaces that are unfortunately inaccessible to people with mobility limitations due to architectural barriers that cannot be removed. But the project also aims to reach a growing number of people through Italian sign language (LIS) and other languages, so that the artistic and religious heritage of Verona's historic churches can become increasingly known and appreciated.

All the chucrches of Verona are closed from Monday 24th February until Sunday 1st March.
